you know, I wonder what's the attraction with the Falklands still to this day. It was a small war that we Argentinians shouldn't have started, but the actual government (the dictadure we endured before Democracy) was desperate to get the vote of the masses, and their last attempt was making war with the United Kingdom of 1980 which was already aging but was far superior to us.
We were extremely sheepy, well we still are but looking back it was really worse; our country is the 8th largest in the world with most of the territory developed very little or directly inhabited, we have so much resources and all kind of biomes, so much richness, space and work to do, but no, people locked in the Falklands.
Also you Chileans will always be seen as traitors by boomers due to selling information during all the war to the British empire. Then again, the same boomers are those who today cross to your country and buy electrics and cars so...
