during the early days of the rave scene (which I was a big part of) it was simply made *uncool* for anyone to be racist/sexist/homo/transphobic - they would be shunned and wouldn't get to find out about events.
This needs to start happening again on a lot of subcultures and in friend circles (too much "bro / lad " culture took over many scenes and its a gateway to fascism)
