I am a white person but "white people" in this context is being used as a generic plural and "their" is in reference to the accomplishments of those people that lived in the past.

I gather that you're probably not nearly as familiar with the English language as you would like people to believe. But the fact that you are even familiar with this language is an accomplishment of a white person from the past.
