I decided that running for the first time in years was what I needed to make my lungs open up. Felt like giving up by a third of a mile. By halfway through didn't think I'd make it. By two thirds imagine I'd literally involuntarily stop despite trying to go on (and perhaps land on my face).
By the time I got back to the house I was making some alarming fucking noises. But I finished it running. And as far as I can tell I haven't technically had a heart attack just yet.
I do think my lungs are still tight and sickly despite it all though.
Anyway, if you want music that'll keep you running even if you probably SHOULD stop for health reasons, I highly recommend Eluveitie's Helvetios album. It's about fighting to the last man woman and child in the face of an imperial genocide waged by the Romans. Absolutely beautiful album. If you run yourself to death though it's not my fault; you've been warned.
