Mark 11:24 speaks about faith, prayer, and trusting in God.

> “Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”



Biblical Meaning

1. Faith comes before circumstances
Jesus teaches us that prayer is not simply about expressing what we want, but about trusting God even when we cannot yet see the result.

2. “Believe that ye receive them” does not mean that God must give us everything we want
This verse is not a formula for turning personal desires into reality. Christian faith places its trust in God’s will and goodness, rather than in the power of human thoughts or desires.

This is consistent with the teaching that follows about forgiveness in Mark 11:25 and with the prayer, “Thy will be done,” in Matthew 6:10.

3. Faith turns prayer into surrender
Prayer is not simply:
