I want to meet the person who needs to throw together a homemade water filter and says "oh let me just make some activated charcoal real quick".
Who just has that lying around or can make it in a pinch?
And if you're not in a pinch, why wouldn't you just buy an actual water filter instead of buying the components to make a DIY water filter?
This just doesn't add up.
