TIL: The new Thinkpad for work didn't like me trying to boot Linux from a live USB connected thru a USB hub. Yielded strange errors running the installation, regardless of the ISO I used. Python modules not found, SQUASHFS errors and so on...
Booted from it directly connected and voilá, uhlalá, eureká, caremondá.
