I'm communicating to several audiences at once. For the experienced Bitcoiners at stackernews (nprofile…kuag), "boring" conveys precisely the probable reading experience they would have.
That doesn't take anything away from how well it introduces topics for a complete beginner.
(It wouldn't quite be the same... We have black belts coming to our newbie sessions sometimes, and they usually get a good round. Not like they _learn_ anything from us whites and yellows, obvs, but they learn from sensei and from fighting different opponents)
