I think a better way is to have some BTC in UTXOs of 1M sats for long term storage, and keep a reasonable amount of bitcoin in lightning or another onchain wallet for daily use, similar to having some cash with you.
Normies complain about a cashless society, but they never use cash so they can accumulate miles they'll never use. Just like bitcoiners want a bitcoin economy but never actually use it when they have the chance.
