every Toyota I have owned, all the telemetry was from the sharkfin antenna. GPS under the dash cover just below the windshield, but that is only receive for the navigation, etc. The other 6 transmitters, are the four TPMS tire sensors, bluetooth audio, and for the key fob, which I believe are low priority on most threat models.
That sharkfin antenna, to take care of it, go to the back of the vehicle, open the hatch, and with a gloved hand, apply about 5 kilograms of pull on the ceiling trim to expose the four skinny wires. Yank them off. You will lose the car's call subscription system and satellite radio too, but you didn't subscribe to that junk anyways. Push the trim back up. Total elapsed time: 60 seconds.
No more transmit of your car's vitals to 1024 third parties. Navigation was always receive only and that still works. Your tire pressure transmitters will still send out their serial numbers every few minutes. The car fob will continue to send regular ACKs with the car. Bluetooth can also be disabled with another hack.
