Watching while consulting the Wikipedia entry on traditional Chinese timekeeping to figure out the timing of events.
I have seen Korean historical dramas on Viki where the team adds the hours to translarion, so I know that an old Korean hour is roughly two of our hours. I assumed Chinese would be similar. But the exact ke of the hour is continually referenced, and a ke turns out to be roughly a 14 minute period in their hour.
Now I am curious about the Korean drama I watched recently that referred to the time to burn an incense stick, so I am going to go hunt that down whike PeiYi keeps looking for the killer.
