Hmm. I own a copy of Emily Wilson’s translation, and I would have called it feminist, in that she considers women as real as men.
Edit: But I have found a talk where she is reported to say that calling something feminist can be marginalizing, and I have the portion of her intro "Goddesses, Wives, Princesses, and Slave Girls" (pp 37-48) marked to read later. But: it is still something I, a feminist, might have said.
Edit 2: But I *wouldn't* have called her *critique of the movie* a feminist critique, since it was primarily about how narratively shallow the movie was. Cinema and storytelling generally.
