Kagi has an AI “assistant” which is a separate website. You have to deliberately want to go there.
Kagi’s AI in search has to be deliberately turned on by adding a “?” to a search. Otherwise it is entirely AI free.
A company offering AI only when you want it is very different to a company shoving it down your throat whether you want it or not.
