So many game types that used to be everywhere, but don't seem to appear on the general radar anymore:
Point and Click Adventures
Starfighter Combat
Car Combat
But somehow 2D and 3D platformers have survived. And Real Time Strategy is still hanging on, but nothing like it was 25 years ago.
