summary: private jet pilot is an absolute dickhead to air traffic controller. he wants to do one specific approach but, since its in LA, and that is quite complex airspace, it requires a lot of coordination with multiple airports, so she tries to give him a different option that’ll be quicker.

he kicks off, wants his original approach, has to tell him to stop yelling, and eventually he gives her an ultimatum- give me what i want or i’ll declare an emergency. so he declares an emergency to get priority handling - which includes shutting down LAX departures.

anyway the air traffic controller did a phenomenal job when faced with an absolute clown, who hopefully won’t be flying for much longer.
