Hey nostr.
I have a dream of homesteading on some beautiful land at some point in my life. I want to be fully independent/self-sustaining.
I stack sats to reach this goal more quickly.
I need advice. I’m 25, live in the city, and want to get there as fast as possible. I am willing to work hard on this project, but want to maintain a balance that allows me to enjoy the earth along the way. It seems the biggest hurdle is the broken money.
Literally anything helps. How you chose/bought land. How you built a home, how you supply your own utilities, how you grow your own food. How you maintain a sense of community.
Please share this with your fellow hodlers, growers, homesteaders, and self-sovereigns and share your advice. What would you do if you were in my position.
Don’t let this dream fall into the void. Let’s do it together.

Create a weekly pot funded by the players to compete for. Then payout the pot to the highest on the leaderboard each week/day/ whatever. Reset and repeat.

Nostr isn’t addictive. It’s facing the harshest competition for mindshare and attention ever created by humans.
It also takes work to build/curate your community on nostr. Once you hit an escape velocity it is amazing, but people are use to their content being spoon fed to them. They don’t like doing any extra work to find it.

You’re right in that ai *can* do government jobs, but the government has to decide to let that happen.
Being a federal employee, we are just now starting to *test* work with copilot for the first time. I’d say we’re using 2023 level ai so far.

Pretty sure they did the same thing with metals and now we’re seeing the result of it.
Sure it suppresses price for a while, but eventually things come back to reality.
Metals are just catching up to their fair value now. Inflation adjusted the silver peak is at like $148 an ounce

One of the primary solutions Bitcoin is supposed to solve is that it will evolve and be competitive forever, or at least as long as money is needed.
In a world with quantum computation, unlimited energy, and abundance, money doesn’t serve as much of a purpose.
Idk, half of the internet crashes whenever AWS or cloud flare goes down. Bitcoin is much more resilient then the rest of the internet infrastructure encryption aside.

I think it’s simply a humility issue. Everyone’s egos (particularly Americans, that’s where I’m from) are attached to this system they were born into, learned, and profited from. Even knowing it’s problematic.
After watching Bitcoin talks from developers in developing countries, the community often embraces the ideas immediately.
