The controls for this game are really bad. Not only does it force you to switch back and forth between motion mode and side-scroller mode, but it also makes you navigate a 3D game with a D-pad like it’s still the PSOne, PSP or DS, and it's very clunky. The part I enjoyed the most was rebuilding the roads on online mode. I think I got an insane amount of likes for some stuff I put in the map, like way beyond thousands. I just watched and read some key plot points later on Youtube and on Wikis lol. Sam is just such a boring protagonist.

Thanks for the sats! Those preorder bonuses are always a scam, and Crapcom is even worse since they resell them later and almost never cut the price unless it’s some random discount that isn’t connected to normal sales for some reason.
I disagree about RE4, though. I understand why fans didn’t like it back then and how that eventually led to the monstrosity that is RE6, but I think 4 and 5 are really great arcade shooters. The whole philosophy is about level design, enemy control and inventory management. In 4 they push you to keep replaying to get "higher scores" or so to speak, which is why Mercenaries is the best mode in the series and the game ends up being a bit easy even on hard. The new inventory system in 5, although it looked bad at first, tried to keep the gameplay flow going instead of forcing the player to constantly close and open the menu every time. (I agree that 5 looks ugly and has terrible sponge enemies).
To me their biggest sin was wanting to push it even further in things that were not relevant. They completely misunderstood what people liked about 4 and 5. Leon going through a mine cart section and running from giant statues of a midget is so ridiculous and campy that it becomes fun, but that doesn’t mean we wanted Michael Bay’s Resident Evil 6 and RE: Umbrella "It's a bit fun with friends" Corps which made Capcom rethink everything they done up to that point.

I played Resident Evil 1 (not the remaster, but the original PS1 version). I only did Jill's route so far, but I plan to tackle Chris's on the HD version next. I'm seriously impressed by how fun this game still is.
I've only dipped into a few minutes of pretty much every other RE title, so now I'm hooked enough to go through the entire series completely. I also get why RE fans hated on RE4 back in the day (this one's all about puzzle-solving, while the later games have the easiest, dumbest puzzles ever lol).

They are just "bringing" back tape technology to data centers. However, tape has always been used in data centers for the most part. I think the end goal is a model that understand the real world and can account for 3D spaces. That would definitely require a combination of LLMs and World Models. It is frustating how sometimes it keeps getting the same things wrong or how it starts hallucinating sometimes.
