Now I’ve upgraded to a Hennessy Hammock 4Season Explorer XL. Same basic design as the Mexican hammock that you are describing, (which, by the way, I'm Mexican and I've slept in that kind of hammock multiple times!) just nylon instead of woven. Also, the Hennessy has a light, removable insulation panel that I just leave on all the time. Love it.
