Among the striking things was a discussion of how the architecture of a place influences music. (E.g. the reverb of a church.)
Another is observations on having an isolated unknown scene where bands can start out sucky and improve in a community of peers (e.g. NYC 1974 CBGB).
This is something that seems impossible to pull today because of the ease of spreading audio/video.

A thing I like about Obsidian is that the data are just text files. I can open vi or gvim and write a note, and if I store it in an Obsidian vault folder it just becomes part of that vault. So I don't have always use obsidian to get the value of its features (e.g. cross links, plugins).

Curious fact: It was Hitchcock's first and only 3D movie. But it was mostly shown in theaters in 2D.
There are assorted shots that make a bit more sense when thought of as "show off the 3D" gestures.
