Great advice from others here. For lodging 3 options are Flor de Bambú @nprofile…7xyn , Shipwrecked Hostel & Uvita Bali Bosque (longer stays, tell them Bitcoin Jungle sent you). All accept Bitcoin. La historia de inflación vs. Bitcoin 💸💸💸
La inflación reduce el valor de tu dinero, pero #Bitcoin cuenta una historia diferente. Bitcoin es diferente porque, a diferencia de las monedas fiat, tiene un suministro limitado y predecible.
Te lo resumo en puntos claros:
* Oferta fija: Solo existirán 21 millones de bitcoins, nunca más. No se puede “imprimir” a voluntad como el dinero tradicional.
* Descentralización: No depende de bancos centrales ni gobiernos que puedan manipular su emisión o devaluarlo.
* Previsibilidad: La emisión de nuevos bitcoins está programada y se reduce cada 4 años (halving), haciendo que sea cada vez más escaso.
* Resistencia a la censura: Podés moverlo o guardarlo sin que nadie pueda congelar tu cuenta o impedir la transacción.
Básicamente, mientras la inflación erosiona el poder adquisitivo del dinero, Bitcoin protege y preserva valor en el tiempo gracias a su escasez y autonomía.

I have UPS on my electronics and these voltage suppressors on all appliances. Still, they fail and need to be replaced annually. Also this stuff isn’t cheap. $150 battery to protect a $250 TV? Ugh. I mean for me it’s fine, I can afford it, but this issue affects the whole town. Everyone is pissed off at having to replace their fridge all the time.

I launched this micro business in 1 day, entirely with AI.
Started off in v0 to make a pretty design. Linked it to github and a vercel account for deployment.
Cloned the repo and opened it up with Cursor. Added the calendar, btcpayserver & whatsapp integrations just by chatting with it.
Bought the domain, linked it with vercel.
Needed some images and a hero video for the website. Used ChatGPT and sora to generate all that. Added to the website, bam.
Created an instagram page. Needed content. Had ChatGPT create a poster, some other AI images. Posted to instagram and boosted the posts.
I heard instagram reels perform better, so I used runway to make me a short video. Then used veed to add a voice and text overlay. Boosted that post.
Start to finish in 6 hours. Like $20 in AI credits and $100 in instagram ads.
Roberto sold a bunch of pipas and got some recurring customers.
If he keeps this going for a few more weeks, he’s looking at $1.5k/mo in income. He delivers 2 days a week. Part time gig, and order management is automated.

To be fair, I am a seasoned software developer with 20 years under my belt. With that being said, I firmly believe that most people can achieve what I've built here with some persistence.
Start off with https://v0.dev to make a design, then export it and use https://cursor.com to add the integrations. Deployment to the web is super easy with Vercel integrated.

It’s so convenient having these new cards.
Now I can go to the beach in the morning on my motorcycle without a phone and be able to pay for the post surf goodies @moromo_forneria instead of just bumming money from my friends.

GM and PV!
We wrapped up our Bitcoin gathering yesterday in the jungle.
If you didn’t hear, our planned music festival+Bitcoin was shut down at the last second by the government for dubious reasons.
But, as we all know, nothing stops Bitcoin.
We scrambled and with only 2 days time we organized a venue, food and artesanal vendors, doubled our scheduled talks, a pool party, a beach party, live music, DJs, and attracted many Bitcoin beginners to come.
In the end, it was a success! People networked, learned, bonded and had a fun time.
Bitcoin Jungle has the strongest team in Bitcoin- I am sure of that. With no profit motive, no revenue, and no CEO, we are able to overcome seemingly insurmountable tasks in order to drive Bitcoin adoption in our community.
I am particularly grateful for @nprofile…syyc, @nprofile…swh0, @nprofile…p3v0, @nprofile…3gxg, @nprofile…amxu, @Anu, @Bel, @Mel, and everyone else who worked for days straight without rest to make this a success.
