Instead of consolidating smaller UTXOs from KYC exchange sources, why not just reuse an address for transfers from the same KYC source? You end up with a single larger UTXO, and no privacy is lost since each transfer is identically doxxed anyway.
Any objections?

Yes, lending bitcoin will be disincentivized because since there's no supply of new bitcoin, eventual defaults are mathematically assured.
Instead of lending rates, perhaps there will be fluctuating rates of equity-for-capital. That is, the purchasing power of bitcoin will increase with greater general productivity growth, and will decrease with lower productivity growth. As a bitcoin holder, if general productivity growth is slow or negative, you'd be incentivized to accept less equity in a business per unit of bitcoin buy-in. If productivity is growing quickly, you'd demand more business equity in exchange for your fast-deflating bitcoin capital.
Makes intuitive sense: if there isn't much innovation or population growth happening, then it will become cheaper to get capital in exchange for equity. A naturally competitive dynamic.

Feels like I've aged many years.
Yes, I've kinda "known" that every moment is precious, but now I know it in my gut.
Seeing her time remaining reduce to weeks, then days, then hours, then seconds, then the space between desperate breaths....
Her personality, her obsessions with the tedium of daily life, ruthlessly stripped away until the last couple days, she was a ghost angel who just wanted love and hugs.

My mom died a few days ago.

You need an LN address. To have an LN address, you need an always-on lightning node. You can do this yourself if you have the ability, or use something like getalby.com, for example. Then you put your LN address into your nostr profile.
For dealing with your sats, you can use the getalby web interface, or connect a lightning wallet to it, such as Zeus.

Bitcoin really doesn't belong in an investment portfolio, as it's a one-of-a-kind savings vehicle. It doesn't represent a lending yield like a bond, nor a profit yield like a business. Its only "investment" aspect is the speculation that it will suck up the monetary premium of all securities and hard assets, and thus have much more purchasing power in the future than it does now. As gigantic and transformative as that is, this is still a one-time speculatory thesis. IMHO it shouldn't be tracked alongside actual investments (business ownership and lending.)
I prefer to not frame it as an investment at all, from the get-go. I guide people directly to self custody, and let the flowers blossom.

Or is it more appropriate for relays to govern stuff like this?
Also, shouldn't a search, at a minimum, be searching all follow and followers profiles?
