I see Australian politicians are talking about banning Chinese-made EVs because of the inherent security risk as they are run by software and are connected to the internet (apparently’made in China’ = ‘controlled by the Chinese government’).
I guess they’re targeting EVs because that’s the only thing Australians import from China that is run by software and connects to the internet. /s
