Yeah, I saw that but didn't consider it to contain anything significant. The general description sounds terrible but when you see what was actually found, not so much. As for customer complaints, have you met the fucking American public? There is a reason it's commonly accepted that looking at a comment section is a mistake.

I'm sure they'd taste different but have you tried Tom's? I've been using it since the late '80s, because I cannot stand artificial sweeteners. I was big mad for quite a while when they discontinued my favorite flavor but got used to whatever flavor (I couldn't even tell you!) I have been using since.

Where is it? Mine was in Ridgefield, Connecticut near the border with West Redding. I remember the phone number from that house but not the street name. I can find the majority of the route I walked home from the library but not the housing development our house was part of. So weird! I guess a lot can change in almost 60 years. But there's still a lot of woods around, which makes me happy for the kids living there now.

I made this flatbread yesterday. Fast (ish) and delicious. For me, the za'atar and olive oil is twice as much as needed. It amazes me how a pocket forms without any complicated forming. Even with the pricking of the dough, the top and bottom separate.

We had some excitement here this morning. I was on my balcony, and Baby Cat was out too. I keep a sharpish eye on her so she doesn't leap to her death as she likes to get up on the ledge and lean out.
SHE CAUGHT A HUMMING BIRD! Luckily she dropped it for inspection. I thought it was dead. I gently picked it up, took it back outside and tossed it off the balcony to retrieve later for the dumpster.
The moment that tiny bird left my hand, it deployed its little wings and flew off! Yay!

I've never had this come up before when transcribing a legal matter - an attorney of indeterminate gender. I have to identify speakers - typically, "Mr. Smith" or "Ms. Smith." But how does one identify someone who's indeterminate?

My bad experiences aren't limited to gynecologists. Dermatologists are another bunch of scoundrels. I have a lot of moles. Tried and failed to get one at Brigham & Women's in Boston to photograph them so they could be tracked. They took pictures that were so bad, you could tell nothing. Then I had a series of dermatologists who wanted to cut them all off because they're "pre-cancerous" (which means "are not cancerous") but only one at a time instead of two or three at a time.

I'm not at all surprised by any of it. I do not trust doctors at all on the basis of my past experience with them. When I was about 37 I developed really heavy periods - crazy heavy. A gynecologist recommended I have my uterus scraped (a potential bad outcome would mean I'd end up with a colostomy). I declined. I found out later that it's not unusual for women of the age I was then to have temporarily heavy periods. You'd think that would be something a gynecologist would know.
