I won’t trust anything from that device. You don’t know for sure what all bugs might still be there in it. Was it even using the randomness that you generated via dice? At the end of the day you relied on cold card.

At this point you can’t even trust the dice rolls that you feed it to coldcard. Needless to say, most people aren’t that technical to use dice plus even if they use it, they are prone to fuck ups. That’s why we had a hardware wallet industry, which solves this problem. That’s what we pay for and that’s the only job they have.
At the end of the day, if we want non technical people to use bitcoin we can’t advise dice to them. We need to come out of our own bubble tbh.

Wtf do you pay for a hardware wallet my friend. So that it generates random seeds for you. That’s the basic use case of a hardware wallet. Rest feature are downstream of it, which can be fixed via updates. But if you did the simplest step wrong, you just scammed people in the name of bitcoin only.

Dude to be honest, the entropy problem with bitcoin wallets was solved years ago via cold wallet. That’s why we buy them then a free software wallet. These coldcard sucked couldn’t even do the basic job.
Yeah sure some wallets might have vulnerabilities which we might not know but every single one of them require physical access to the wallet, but these dude fucked up on basic stuff. That’s the reason why some white hat hackers weren’t able to find the vulnerabilities on coldcard because it’s such a basic thing.
