About three weeks ago when the normie flock noticing thing kicked off, i made a comment to my wife as well as my best friend.
Basically something along the lines of theres something off about how this is spreading. It all seems forced, its not organic.
I didnt want to be the first guy to burst bubbles and point that out since I already seem to be the guy that ruins parties. But this just confirms the thing ive been feeling. My intuitions aren't something I take lightly.

My issue is most ranchers that sell direct also charge much much higher prices than store bought. So not only are they making the cut they would make AND getting the middlemans cut, but then they are charging double the store price.
I know unregulated ranchers dont get subsidies and such, but at a certain point the economics of it just make it impossible to buy from them. To most people all this woo woo stuff goes out the door when you have to pay 2x-4x the grocery store price.
My goal is to change that, at least for my community, over the next 5-10 years.
