I just got the news that deacon.social is shutting down three months from today. This makes me sad, since it is hard to find corners of the Fediverse where religious thought is not only tolerated but even embraced. I have really enjoyed the spirit of openness I’ve found here.
Anyone have any good ideas concerning what server I should migrate to? It might seem that the obvious choice would be fidelis.social, but that is a community specifically created for Roman Catholics, and I fear I might occasionally offend someone there.

We moved to NC in summer of 2007, right after the Cup win, which is when we became Canes fans. Tonight I was wearing my autographed Chad LaRose tee shirt for good luck.

I can't find the reference online right now, but it is said that St. Melangell built a church by herself on a rocky promontory overlooking the sea, one stone at a time.
My wife served on the building committee for our parish, and developed a strong affinity for St. Melangell.

You seem to imply that Jesus is not divine.
If the Divine Logos of God united himself wholly to humanity, then he participates even in human death. By descending into the abode of the dead, he is able to liberate all the righteous from all ages.
If the Logos of God is not human in death, he cannot be human in resurrection. And if he is not resurrected as human, how can we humans be resurrected in him?
