Yes, I think Event type 1 is the best place for it. A nip would be helpful to describe the format for location you're using - geohash flavor or lat/lon

I see! A few remedies for you - the (more->unsub) button on the #wifematerial page will unsubscribe you. Alternative, there is only one poster there, so you could just mute that poster and that will clean up your feed.

Nostraco.in auto accepts every post sent to a community - that means less censorship and you can see the posts faster.

I did find the claim that the belts are shaped like donuts convincing. A lot of magnetic fields are shaped like that. So it is plausible to me that the radiation is much less dense in places.

Nostraco.in can only write to the blockchain if it has your private key and you have funds in your account. Otherwise, it just uses regular relays. So if you're logged in with just a public key, or using an extension like nos2x, it can't write anything to the blockchain.
