I completely agree with you here. Most don’t understand the technical implications or motivations one way or the other and are wondering if the network and their money is in danger.
My simple heuristic is to stay on the side that has been safe so far until further notice.

My 2 sats. Core has been successful keeping the protocol safe so far. Unless one believes they have been compromised then there’s nothing to worry about from them. As far as I can tell, their technical arguments are sound.
The only thing I would do differently maybe is to remove the op_return limit once fees are consistently higher to deter so called spam.

I pretty much agree with the thesis.
Wondering if there is an argument that TA is useful also because of the transparency of on-chain issuance.
Although it is fiat being exchanged , TA provides a way to check assets issuance against holdings.
eCash might take over once a robust reputation system is in place so users can have a way to trust they can safely accept randomCo ltd dollars redeemable for real goods and services.

The day you can show one of your UTXO spend itself at random without you initiating a transaction then maybe it’s quantum (more likely you have been hacked).

You might be confusing a few things:
- Your use the term probabilistic here isn’t appropriate as one could know the future state of a given UTXO before a block is added to the chain. Colluding with every miner would allow this.
- A UTXO doesn’t evolve as a function of time. It is created and destroyed, this without a causal link to time or block height.

To go back on the points in your original take and explain why I believe it doesn't fit the framework you are describing:
Superposition: UTXOs are always unspent thus are in a deterministic state (the timechain being the only guarantor of truth).
Entanglement: One can't just make UTXOs interact like particles, you either destroy them to create new UTXOs or you don't. Once they are destroyed that's the end of their story.
Measurement: Before a new block is mined a UTXO is unspent, this is a deterministic state therefore there is no need to collapse any wave function.
I hope this makes my argument clearer.

A UTXO is always in an unspent state. UTXO’s are instantly created/destroyed as new blocks are mined. Time doesn’t exist for a UTXO.
I fail to see how the analogy helps to understand bitcoin. But that’s only my view.
