Most of our society does not have the ability to plan ahead and work on something for a duration measured in years.
My inner high time preference gets me on mornings like this when I am trudging into the fiat mines.
At least I know that a newfound freedom I can’t yet grasp is a couple of years away when this bus is done.

VenusOS will be the backbone of our skoolie solar GUI and automation.

I took inspiration from that enclosure when creating the StealthMiner retrofit in the way in which sections stack.
A Loki rig is the next step up that is one the retrofit front.
I actually have a Slim19 JPro available for 600k sats.
It is a recycled S19 aluminum enclosure and hashboard where the 120v PSU and control board are internally mounted plus a 5v barrel jack for VONETs WiFi bridge.

Going from a RPi4 with 1TB usb ssd to proxmox VM with gen6 i5, 32GB, 4TB NVME in a optiplex micro.
Proxmox is currently humbling me as I learn my way through it.

Months of rewiring the bus chassis is finally done.
All built in ignition shutoff safety’s have been bypassed/removed.
Before I rewired it all, I had a phantom drain and the batteries would die in 1-2 days; now she fires right up after sitting for 4 weeks.
