Definitely part of it….but the most popular sausage in most of South Louisiana is a fusion of Cajun and German Catholic (from the Mowata/Robert’s Cove region) and the seasoning other than spicy (cayenne) is fairly simple
…we’re pretty proud ⭕️ our food down here…that and our fairly robust festival/party atmosphere…other than that we rank last or close to last in erythang (thank God for Mississippi or it would be last in everything 😳😂)
