, folding bakfiets were tried before by some Chinese manufacturers, and they were not good. It’s very difficult to manufacture a strong and reliable fold.

I could not cycle with a bakfiets in a bak, and it took two people to move it (I pushed the working bakfiets while the owner had to hold the transported one).

So, instead I went to Cegléd by bus to try to catch the last connection to Bratislava via Hegyeshalom. Unfortunately, the train's got delayed too, which pushed my planned arrival home to 0:44.
I then took a bus from Kelenföld — but, alas, it's also got delayed by 45 minutes.
I have finally arrived home around half past midnight.

Well, to whom it may concern: I have successfully delivered the #Bakfiets #cargobike to a customer after cycling for almost 20 km from Nagykáta, but I missed my last train to Budapest that'd allow me to make a connection back to Bratislava.

Total meltdown in Budapest. I needed to go to Tápiószele (direction Szolnok), but since there was no sight of the train, I thought I'd board the train to Nagykáta, which is two stations earlier.
That was a smart decision, as this train, although delayed, did run, whereas the train to Szolnok was eventually cancelled.

Cycled across the city to get the COVID booster jab, and was faster than if I went by public transport: 32 min vs 39 or 44. Also, it turned out 9°C is not too cold to cycle in a knee-length skirt (without leggings or tights). The last ten minutes of the ride were unnecessarily noisy and smelly though.

Louvain-la-Neuve is an interesting and quite beautiful car-free town. Built to primarily support the university, it's not all about the university and still has the things you would expect from a regular town. Except cars — you will only find them at the town’s perimeter, or underneath the main square where a major road passes in a tunnel.

, I used to book accommodation in the centre, but discovered morning travel to be quite slow, so since the last year I'm staying close to the venue not far from the Louiza tram line, so it's still easy to go to the centre (either tram or bike to Louiza, then walk).
