Good coverage on the #RightToRepair movement. Seems like a regulation that says if you shut down your Internet connected service and brick the device you sold, you should be required to open source the software and fully unlocked the device.

How is this not what everyone is talking about right now? The main article came out YESTERDAY. Whistleblower to congress:
"in the minutes after DOGE accessed the NLRB's systems, someone with an IP address in Russia started trying to log in. Those attempts were blocked, but they were especially alarming. Whoever was attempting to log in was using one of the newly created DOGE accounts — and the person had the correct username and password."

I don't quite understand the hate of Firefox, was their "update" directed at your sentiment? Mozilla is a nonprofit and they're of course not going to be perfect but they're kind of the last game in town since Google took over all the browser backends? I see a lot of "go to librewolf" but would they have enough support to maintain the browser if FF died?

Obama created a technical guru group to fix healthcare.gov. When the clown show came back to town musk fired 40 of them and pulled 65 into DOGE. 21 just quit with a group resignation letter:
