real ones will know this feeling.
i've been sitting here trying to figure out how to build a client intake journey automation from scratch. the client has a vision, a clear one actually, and my job is to make it real inside whatever tools and systems we're working with.
except i've been staring at this screen for a good while now with absolutely nothing. just me, the blinking cursor, and the very loud silence of not knowing where to start.
here's the thing though — being a va doesn't mean saying yes to everything exactly as the client described it. part of the job, the real part, is knowing when to speak up. when to say "i hear what you want, and here's what's actually possible with what we have."
so instead of forcing something that won't work, i'm building a proper proposal first. mapping out what the system can realistically do, finding the closest version of her vision that actually holds up, and presenting that instead.
it's more work upfront. but it saves everyone a bigger headache later.
anyway. i'm sharing this here because bchnostr is where i come to be honest, not just to post the wins. today is a "figuring it out" day and that's okay too.
back to the screen. wish me luck. 🌱

i finally did it — wrote my first proper blog post here on bchnostr.
it's about the six social media apps i deleted this year, one by one, and why bchnostr was the only one that survived. not because it's the prettiest or the most popular, but because it's the first platform in a long time where i stopped posting for an algorithm and started posting for actual people.
i also talk about the tipping thing — and why the first time someone tipped me bch hit completely differently from a thousand likes ever did.

okay this has officially become a bit. me, @npub1cxg…xj5k @npub1tdw…lstu discovered bchnostr together and now it’s like an inside joke that turned into an actual habit — wherever we go, somebody’s posting on nostr.
church included. yes, that’s literally us in the photo, phones out, probably mid-post about whatever just happened that morning. we have zero shame about it at this point lol.
it’s funny because it didn’t start as a “let’s all get into crypto” thing. it just kind of happened — one of us found it, dragged the rest of us in, and now it’s part of how we hang out. there’s something nice about discovering a space together instead of alone, even if the running joke is that we can’t go anywhere without someone whipping out their phone to write a post.
anyway. tag your circle who’d 100% do the same thing.
