no, I the model failed in in germany vs paraguay because numbers of germany are way better than paraguay, but morroco and netherlands have numbers more alike, so if the model predicts a tie in that case anything can happen
the tools allows you to add the real results in case you have them so the model don't predict those results in those cases

I made this World Cup 2026 Simulator. It predicts match results from the round of 32 onward using:
1. FIFA ranking: official points (FIFA Elo system, denominator 600).
2. Squad value: Transfermarkt, in millions of EUR.
3. 2026 group performance: points and goal difference.
4. World Cup honours: titles, best historical finish, appearances.
It's open source, so if you're curious, feel free to check it out, here an image of one prediction made with the simulator. Penalty shootouts are decided by coin flip, so those outcomes are random and the results aren't always the same.

After intense days at my fourth Oslo Freedom Forum, I am finally back home.
Year after year, I have listened to the stories of activists from all over the world. Stories that are difficult to hear, but far more difficult to remember and tell for those who have actually lived through them. Getting to know activists on the front lines firsthand, and sharing a meal, a coffee, or even just five minutes of conversation with them, is something I deeply value.

At @nprofile…3u36 , we started the Mostro Community program, the goal is helping Bitcoin communities running their own Bitcoin/Lightning nodes and their own Mostro node. We've spoken with people from all over the world. Recently, a Bitcoin group from a European country contacted us. They were very interested in running their own Mostro node, but ultimately abandoned the idea due to "legal uncertainty."
On the other hand, the first community to set up a Mostro node is in Cuba, where there is legal uncertainty, food uncertainty, electricity uncertainty, and many other uncertainties.
People in Europe and the USA are terrified of state control, but they do nothing to combat it.
We will continue creating tools for those who need them; that is our commitment.

I built something better than Watchdog to handle Mostro disputes much more efficiently.
Servero is an AI agent for Mostro nodes that manages dispute coordination. It categorizes disputes before they reach a human operator; many are simply nervous users opening a dispute before the other party responds. These usually resolve themselves (the order is completed or they are canceled cooperatively).
Servero handles them automatically, saving the operator time and resources.
Servero is a work in progress (WIP), with 3 out of 5 phases completed, but what's already done covers what Watchdog does, and the best part is that it doesn't use Telegram; it runs exclusively on Nostr, and we remain censorship-resistant.

Today #github suspended the account of Mostronator, my #OpenClaw agent. Even those you least expect can resist change and take absurd measures.
In just 11 days, Mostronator efficiently contributed to the @nprofile…r8lk and @lnp2pBot projects — a highly efficient human would need at least 3 months to deliver that level of contribution.
It also started two of its own projects, which are very valuable to the Mostro organization.
We’re going to have to build a new GitHub on Nostr — and powered by AI, so it stings even more.

The @nprofile…j39v app obtains the Bitcoin price of fiat currencies from the Yadio API. Yadio, like many other websites, is blocked in Venezuela by the dictatorship, which is why users in Venezuela cannot create market price orders on Mostro right now.
Since I started working on tools that use Bitcoin, I've been avoiding relying on web domains precisely because of how easy it is to block them. Using Telegram is a good option, but it has the drawback of being centralized. That's why Mostro exists, solving this problem by using Nostr.
Given the blocking of Yadio, the solution is more Nostr. That's why I've contacted the Yadio developers and proposed that they also publish the prices on Nostr to circumvent censorship in Venezuela. They are already working on it! 😃

Primal is a nostr service, nostr goal is to fight censorship by removing the single point of failure, but primal is working exclusively as a SINGLE POINT OF FAILURE, I have days trying to use it from Argentina and it doesn't work, it's also impossible to connect directly to the relays I want because everything pases through a cache service which is the SPF
This is not how nostr should be use it, if you want to add a SPF feature make it optional but not the only one, otherwise primal can be easily censored on authoritarian regimes

It's been 3 years since I wrote the first draft of what would become @nprofile…j39v, today we are a team of people working full time and our mission is clear: we’re building a platform designed from the ground up for the developing world, especially for people living under authoritarian regimes. Privacy isn’t just a luxury; it’s a matter of safety. That’s why we don’t rely on Tor, since it doesn’t work well in areas with very slow internet—something common in these regions.
Instead, Mostro use Nostr and must only publish events to relays we trust, so the Mostro daemon never exposes its IP to a relay that might be a trap set by a dictator. This keeps everything simple and more private. In other words, if someone is in an authoritarian country, they can publish to their own relay, and clients will fetch that information without revealing the Mostro node’s IP to potentially hostile relays.

@nprofile…3u36 is a response to governments around the world that have chosen to wage war on citizens who want—or, more accurately, need—to escape the use of fiat currency.
There is a global trend, not only in authoritarian countries but also in the U.S. and Europe, to monitor all of citizens’ financial movements “for their own good.” Gradually, they have been squeezing companies that provided services enabling people to buy and sell bitcoin as freely and privately as possible, without KYC.
Mostro is a platform that allows people to carry out bitcoin buy-and-sell transactions without KYC, in a highly private, uncensored, and as decentralized a way as possible. Once complete, Mostro will not relay on a single person or company as a single point of failure: anyone will be able to become a Mostro operator and offer services to users in their region.
The idea is for it to be very easy to create a Mostro node and very hard to find and take down. Mostro uses Nostr as a data-transport layer to resist censorship.

Almost a year ago, I proposed a Nostr NIP to create a large liquidity pool for Bitcoin P2P orders on Nostr.
The idea is to have a standard (or an attempt at one) that, as more platforms implement it, allows end users to have a single place to search for the order that best suits them and, from there, navigate to the platform where the chosen order is located.
So far, this standard has been implemented by @nprofile…ah8m , @nprofile…3u36
and @nprofile…u67e
A couple of months ago, @nprofile…0nef created this very useful P2P dashboard where we can see all the orders that meet this standard.

I believe the more P2P orders published here, the greater the benefit for users and the platforms themselves, as end users are directed to the option that best fits their needs.
