You don’t need a therapist, just a willingness to ask yourself tough questions & someone who has your back.
The use case for a therapist or any support person in your life, is to be a sounding board who is non judgemental and will still call you on your shit. We all have blind spots. This needs to be called out every now & again.
Preferably they will also have knowledge in areas that you don’t so that they can help you learn new things. Knowledge really can be half the battle.
And after years of supporting adults to love and trust themselves, I stand by my belief that the person whose love you need the most is your own & our Heavenly Father’s.
From this place I have witnessed miracles of healing and change & I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that faith is all powerful. Do you have a deep faith? If not, why not?
This doesn’t mean you can’t, & won’t, still be lonely or afraid or in struggle. It means that you shift HOW you view your struggles & pain, and the information it’s providing you.
Praying for support can help shift a situation into a new experience. It can also bring you clarity and peace. We are much more capable of handling life’s bumpy roads with the resiliency a faithful heart than with a confused one. I choose to believe that everything is happening for me, not to me, and I can find my way forward somehow no matter how stuck I feel.
You can call this practicing radical responsibility, or the avoidance of being stuck in a victim role long term. Whatever you want to call it, think of it as getting knocked down lots of times, but always bouncing back up eventually.
With a mindset like this, we know that nothing is permanent in this life, except change and we have come here to experience this time. We may as well make the most of it.
Our hard asset is down. Fear & uncertainty at a high. How will you stay your own course and help regulate your nervous system today & this week?
I’m heading for a snorkel in the ocean then baking my kids favourite snack and cooking up some healthy epic meals for my own health journey.
It’s the simple actions you do each day that help you stay the course inside yourself, while the world around you flex’s in chaos.

As Bitcoin continues to reprice the world and the cost of living deflates every single year,
