I think Biden had even more hurdles to overcome than Harris. His sudden physical aging was alarming to people. His approval ratings remain low, probably due to the admin's failure to hype its achievements during his term. Nobody knows what he did. Harris has energized millions of people who were unenthused before, and has received many Republican endorsements who may not have spoken out if Biden had continued (but we don't know that for sure of course). @npub1esh…ggsa

BLUF: What underlies some people's claims that they just don't know that much about her is that they are misogynists and/or racists who, no matter what they learn, or *can* learn, nothing will ever be enough. It's related to the people who said of Clinton, "I have nothing against voting for a woman. I just couldn't vote for *her*. They'll say that for every woman and not find anything strange about it.

Net controller in #WNC gave out his email yesterday for welfare check requests and he says he's got at least 500 in his inbox & chances are it'll be many days before they can be followed up on. NC EM is now NOT accepting incoming health & welfare check requests due to overload. Out of state people urged to call 888-892-1162 with requests. Yes for sure. One year I raised luna moths from caterpillars and that was quite a thing. They only ate sweet gum leaves so I was always out prowling around cutting branches off sweet gum trees. I'm sure neighborhood window-peekers thought I was up to no good 😂

Ban assault weapons. There should not be one house in the country in which an angry young man can access an assault weapon so he can take as many people out with him as possible. I would not go to that size event. I still mask up to go shopping but I'll occasionally eat in a restaurant. I avoid large events. I wouldn't go to a political rally, concert, possibly not even the state fair even though it's outdoors.

How much hate has to be in your mind to get to this point? People just don't seem to realize that they get infected with hate by listening to other people who are infected. People on Fox News or worse, and people like Trump or Confederate-flag waving nutty uncles. Listening to hate and absorbing it is a choice. Don't be so open minded that your brains fall out.
