I want to say I’m looking forward to 20 years in the future as Bitcoin will just keep appreciating. But in truth I’m not. Time is the most scarcest asset. Time isn’t stopping for anyone. I’ve been reflecting a lot recently about what is it that will make me happy. I’ve always known it’s never been money that brings me happiness. It’s health and having purpose. Having that freedom of living without any toxic competition or people with bad vibes around you always trying to be above you. Health, and purpose brings inner peace. Having positive company and the right people around you with winner mindsets brings happiness. That’s all I want really. The rest just naturally falls into place. It’s just difficult ignoring the natural instincts of human nature and focusing all the time. Don’t get me wrong, I am good at focusing. I’m actually locked in 98% of the time. No really. It’s just sometimes that you get derailed and need reminders to put you back on track.
Take time and reflect on life. Tell me if I’m wrong.

#Update on below: I spent 3h this morning at the #bank branch.
They #verified my #passport and drivers #licence using special equipment to make sure it’s #real and not #fakes.
Spoke to the #fraud department via their internal phone which then transferred me over to a #specialist section within the fraud department “#crypto fraud department”.
The second guy on the phone I spoke to was very #intrusive and asked questions like why am I #investing in crypto? I said not crypto, I buy #bitcoin, he asks why, how much have I studied it, do I know the #risks, getting more #aggressive each question. Then starts to ask #silly questions, how much return will I be getting, where I said, how am I supposed to know? I don’t care how much return. He says why then buy bitcoin, I said because it’s the #best asset out there. Then he waits for me to say a figure. I say I don’t know? 100%? 200%? He says this is for sure a #scam as how can it make this much. I said who said over one year? I mean over a 20 year period. lol then had to #explain #stocks, and #investing #strategies to him.
Anyways, it was #insane and not #funny, very #draining like I’m some sort of #thief and #criminal. I then had to give the phone to an employee at the branch where he was instructed to follow a #protocol where I had to watch a #video about how crypto and bitcoin will potentially make me #lose all my #money. Then was told the bank would also need to get the #police to come and ask me if anyone’s forced me to buy crypto for them. Once all logged, then they will #unlock my account.
I ask the employee; what if I don’t #transfer the money to the #exchange? And just leave it, would I still get access to my money? He said well actually the bank is providing a #service and we don’t actually #own the money, but I’m sure if you’d #decline the transfer they’ll unlock it as it won’t be going to the exchange anymore.
We call the fraud department again. This time luckily it’s a person with sense. He determines I’m #legit and unlocks it for me as he knows I am #knowledgable about my investments. I thank him and ask him to wait on the call as and I do the transfer whilst on call with him.
Transfer goes through pending now on an exchange to do their confirmations.
3h of my time today 1.5h yesterday; parking I paid for. All just to move my own money as the banks don’t feel I am #making the right #decisions.
Do you see why bitcoin is the future?
I did realise one thing though, these videos and process are for the #vulnerable, and I do understand majority of #society is vulnerable as they’re in a system that keeps them #working like #slaves.
So if there’s one thing to take out of my #situation and #experience. #Learn what money is, who #controls it, and if you actually own the “money” that’s in your bank account. Because for sure I was just told plainly, it’s not my money, the bank can #lock my account if they deem the money is not being used how they want it.

Anyone that thinks #bitcoin isn’t the future is a #fool. I just tried #transferring some money to an #exchange. Called the fraud department as instructed they check everything and say I can do it now and there’s no limit. This time try more money than the initial attempt, again. #Blocked! Call the bank again, this time after #intrusive questioning they do “additional” checks and now I have to go into a branch with photo id 😂 hahaha. They can try (and succeed in this case) to #waste my time now, in the future we’ll see how they feel when the wealthy are transacting peer to peer. I’m completely happy with #FinTechs facilitating #payments and making money, that’s fine. But the fact banks are locking me out when there are no discrepancies for additional security, it’s just insane. It would have been ok if through their trends they saw me spend like an idiot and gamble, but something I’ve been doing for so many years? It’s always at a #bear market as well. #Newbies will get #scared and because of all the hassle not buy bitcoin in the end as it #scares them off. Good #tactics to keep the #weak from not #stacking #sats.

The issue was never wanting to work. Working keeps you sane. Gives you morals, teaches you how to be a man or a woman. This is 100% correct.
It’s always been about being tired from working and your money getting #devalued the second you’ve earned your pittance. Not having something to show for your hard work. Not being able to get the bare necessities of some land, and crops and cattle to provide for your heirs. Instead being a cog in the world of #modern #slavery to work until you #die.

I can argue the same with I can use my card on most things but there’s still transactions that require me to use cash. Similarly, most things can be purchased with bitcoin, especially now that there are options to pay with gift cards, and soon integrated wallets into the ecosystem.
But yes I agree, there are still things you can’t pay for with bitcoin, but I still believe it’s a matter of the party not accepting bitcoin itself. Rent for example, you can easily convince the landlord to accept bitcoin, they just need some incentive - they just choose not to as it’s not legal tender yet. I agree it may be related to lifestyle and maybe location too. I know 80% of how I live I can pay with bitcoin. Funnily enough I still choose not to, as I don’t want to decrease the amount of SATS I have … not yet anyway. Maybe in 20 years time when everyone else is using it as a norm and our conversations are just a part of history 😄

Been into Bitcoin since 2017 and honestly, it’s quietly been one of the best things that ever happened to me.
Back then for those who know me, I only #invested in watches, and jewellery. Bitcoin forced me to actually think about money for the first time. Real #scarcity of the cap really made me feel, yeah this is how money should be. I started treating every sat like it actually mattered. Stacking #SATS, didn’t stop spending, just invested what I would have anyway (then again, I’m not a big spender!!). That alone changed my entire relationship with #saving something that matters.
I went down the rabbit hole hard. Spent 100s of hours on #studying bitcoin, I built my first #Lightning node, lost a bunch of money experimenting but I learned a ton. Kept building more nodes, full #bitcoin #nodes, switched on some #btc #miners. I’m way more technically comfortable now than I ever thought I’d be. Linux, networking, hardware, power efficiency (I guess attending the ethical hacking cert training (CEH) helped comprehend a lot of this as well)… Bitcoin turned me into someone who can actually build and run real infrastructure. The best bit, all done on my own money, my own time. #Investing in #education is never a loss.
The Bitcoin price? Yeah it goes up and down like a rollercoaster, but what new #asset doesn’t? It’s only 16 years old! Here’s the thing most people still don’t get. The #volatility only hurts you if you’re treating Bitcoin like a #stock to flip. If you actually adopt it as your base layer money and just hold the asset, the day-to-day price noise becomes background static. The people who end up wealthy in this space are the ones who stop looking at the chart every five minutes and just #HODL. Assets are retained, not traded.
Seven years in, I’m calmer about money, technically sharper than I’ve ever been, and sitting on an asset that keeps proving itself while everything else gets debased. That’s the real “life-changing” part. Not the #Lambo memes (but the memes do make me laugh haha!!).
Did you know…
- There will only ever be 21,000,000 Bitcoin. That’s it. Less than the number of #millionaires on the planet right now.
- The last Bitcoin won’t be mined until around the year 2140. Your great-grandkids will still be watching blocks get solved.
- Every four years the new #supply gets cut in half (the halving). We just had one in 2024.. only ~450 new BTC per day now.

Sometimes you need to just think. What is better than Bitcoin? Like seriously, I’m genuinely trying to understand, what is a better asset than Bitcoin? Not only is it decentralised and I have full control over it with no other entity saying what I can or can’t do with it, but on top of that Fiat holders love to inflate bitcoins price so the purchasing power of Bitcoin only increases.

I used to be the type of guy that couldn’t sleep through Bitcoin going higher and nearly reaching all time highs. I’d wait and just look at the charts and it would make me smile that I was right.
Fast forward 7/8 years. I had the best sleep of my life last night. I wake up now and see Bitcoin is reaching all time highs territories again.

I don’t believe Bitcoin can ever fail. There’s always a community that has Lazer eyes till Fiat dies so they will be the users.
Now that adoption has gone into national and state levels, it can’t die even with a future ban.
Yes, people don’t want to study, people look for quick cash to go on holidays rather than thinking of generational wealth.
I don’t see bitcoin as either free or not. I see it as the first time in history the public were able to come into owning money, and because of this there is a huge wealth transfer coming. Even if there is only an extra 10M new millionaires, that’s still 10M than before. This also means there is the possibility of goodness coming from that pool of people to help society and the poor. Not everyone is greedy and wants to help humanity in ways they are capable of.
The future is for sure exciting to witness!!

One interesting way to stop price from increasing is by #investors not buying Bitcoin itself but #Strategy shares for example at the premium just so people get in early still. Confuses me as #ETFs own raw #Bitcoin supposedly but whenever they purchase no price change. Only when #MSTR purchases there is a change in price. Bit odd imo.

I’m not happy with all these corps eating up BTC. I want all individuals in the world to be wealthy and to be able to eat and provide for their families. The amount of wholecoiners that are possible is decreasing rapidly with these corps making treasuries.

I keep seeing posts of where husband and wife decide where finances should get spent as a shared decision. Is it only me that lives the life where I provide and make decisions that impact family and finances, my family just spends and enjoys without any wasted thoughts of earning?
It’s a one way street here, my wife spends my money and her own, I don’t see her money, the family spends from my wealth, and I provide and figure out ways to give them the life they deserve. I see myself as a Conductor playing a beautiful symphony, orchestrating a masterpiece.
The real joy is seeing what you’ve been able to provide for and hard work paying off.
