I wholeheartedly disagree with @nprofile…z52n @nprofile…a20h and @npub1lh2…a9nk that if BIP-110 fails so does Bitcoin
That said, I’m solo mining and signaling BIP-110 with Knots
My reason isn't about spam. I simply disagree with Core. With their proposal, their mechanism, and their general approach to the community. BIP-110 is the best way to voice that. Fears about "seeming ungrateful" to developers, risking a chain split, or triggering a price drop aren't good enough reasons to avoid doing this. Bitcoin is bigger than any specific group of devs. If Bitcoin can’t survive a chain split led by plebs, I'd rather find out now than later.
One of the most underrated reasons to go for BIP-110 is that, fail or succeed, we will stress-test the game theory of Bitcoin. We can’t continue to rely on the load-bearing myth of the Blocksize Wars forever. The State will eventually attack. The more we learn about our game theory weaknesses today, the better prepared we will be for that time

I think the fact that @npub16ug…gsfk can delete primal and still communicate with all his followers and that we could all just switch to damus in a second kind of proves the whole point of nostr no? 99% of users on X don’t care about building an audience, they just want to be the audience. That means we should be able to significantly reduce switching costs for most users on NOSTR by mirroring the most popular accounts on X. The wallets of mirroring accounts could then hold sats until those people mirrored decide to claim them if they want to join nostr. Funds could be distributed to mirrored account owner over a year to encourage them to stay on.
