@nprofile…z8fh @nprofile…t22j feature request in response to coldcard incident. You are the only wallet I know of that can do this. Granted this is not great for privacy, but I take it a portion of your users with kyc bitcoin won’t care.
In order to move a specified threshold amount of bitcoin in a specified period of time, the user gets a notification via email, text, push. In order to move the coin, the user must respond to clarify they want to move the above threshold amount of coin.

I was able to go to church yesterday with just my wife - my 4 year old and 2 year old stayed at the grandparents. It was nice not watching them for the mass. I could definitely pay attention better. Every once in a while I have an issue with the bank account associated with strike. For example, I couldn’t move credit card rewards in the form of a cash payment to the account. Also TurboTax wouldn’t accept it when I wanted to pay my tax bill with it. Other than those two issues I’ve had no problem

Sorry for the hate @npub1cn4…3vle I think the hate comes from Duke being a prestigious school. They get the best recruits every year. UConn gets good recruits too, but just not the TOP recruits like duke does. So when they lose it feels to take down the “big guy”. Also Duke is very “buttoned up”. So to see a team like UConn with a bombastic head coach grind out a win like that, it felt so good. Duke was the better team. UConn had the lead when the clock hit zero. I’m not gonna stop disliking Duke, but I’ll focus more on my team winning.

The reason Christianity resonates with so many people is because it’s made for broken people. One of the core tenants of Christianity is that humans are inherently sinful - every single one of us. And Jesus Christ paid the ultimate price for our sins. Jesus Christ associated himself with the sinners of this world. Christianity is designed to build people up. This is very different from the other religions of this world.

New Year’s resolution (goal) idea. Read the entire bible in one year. The link below is the plan I followed these past two years. It’s a great program. The reading each day is about 10-15-minutes long. The daily podcast that accompanies and recaps the daily reading is about 8-10 minutes long. It’s not hard, it just requires commitment; and I’ve found a lot of value from it.

I like your idea from years back about the debit card. I still need physical cash (very good for privacy) and transferring from strike to a bank account is either slow or I have to pay that instant withdrawal fee. I’m not sure what the limitations are on strikes end, but I’d prefer that over a credit card. I can easily just strike bill pay my credit cards.

I’m on my second run through the Bible. I’ll be done with it by the end of the year (minus the deuterocanonical books. It’s a valuable exercise.
Nero might not have been the beast referenced in the Bible. It’s a theory. I should have said that from the start. It doesn’t take away from the fact that Paul was jailed and beheaded by Nero.
I’d be very interested to hear who/what you think the beast is.

With all do respect to everyone on this thread. I respect all of your opinions and I enjoy the banter.
However, idk how you can profess to be a Christian and discredit Paul as a Roman agent. He wrote more books than anyone else in the Bible and third by volume (behind Moses and Luke).
I also don’t see how you can read the Bible in its totality and not see Gods word present in Paul’s Epistles. They’re all very well written and don’t signify anything nefarious.
If you guys have evidence otherwise I’d be happy to hear it.

Also Paul endured a lot during his time as a Christian. Ship wrecks, stoning, evading Romans, jailed by Romans. And eventually died via beheading by Nero. I don’t think the “Roman agent” theory holds up.

That’s a spicy hot take. He was a Pharisee who was persecuting Christian’s who then turned to Christ. I’m not sure where you get the Roman state agent from, considering the Roman’s persecuted Christians as well. (See emperor Nero aka the beast 666).
Also the Apostles vouched for him. Luke writes of him in good regard in the book of Acts.
His epistles are a huge part of the New Testament. I find it hard to read the Epistles and not see the word of God working through him. They are really well written. IMO

A lot of Christian theology and church formation is rooted in the Epistles. Everyone quotes these chapters when talking about their theological views. What if we missed a big letter where he talks about the divinity of Mary, or how the communion should be treated, etc.

I try to look objectively at different ways people practice Christianity. I don’t go to an EO church, but I think there’s things that can be learned from that denomination. Same goes for Catholicism and Protestantism.

Onward and upward is not a gnostic saying. It’s just a saying. Meaning we keep going on with our lives and aim to to achieve our goals.
I stay away from Gnosticism as well.
The first prayer is an Eastern Orthodox prayer.
Magic is a very loose term. From my perspective. Magic can be good or bad.
I would argue the Catholic mass is a magic ritual/ceremony. Reciting prayers, songs, and the culmination is Eucharist becoming the body and blood of Christ. This is a good form of magic.
Bad magic is also present. I can see it very prominent in mainstream media (music, satanic symbolism in brand logos, etc.)
