yeah, I will probably be setting up a NAS in the future.
Might go with a higher end UGreen enclosure, upgrade the RAM, and then get several enterprise level 20TB drives.
Not sure if I will flash a new OS like Unraid on it.

I think RAM, SSD, and other prices will be coming down after the IPOs. Investors might deal with low/no profitability, but shareholders will not.
So, the big AI companies will need to scale back on datacenter plans and such.

Chat GPT accidentally broke/deleted sections of code in the non-uploaded version I am working with at the moment.
I was trying to improve the LLM functions in the app and it deleted a bunch of stuff in the process.
Part of the "fun" of AI.

Note - This is a work in progress. The UI is still not the best and downloading/using small LLMs for Chapter title/description recommendations is running into issues. So this is NOT ready for prime time.

I decided to take a note from @npub1fmx…wp74 's playbook and have been doing some vibe coding to create an application I've wanted to help with creating Transcripts and Chapters.
I currently am not building it as an executable or anything until I really get to test it, but still, pretty decent.

I think this is both the benefit and curse of an open standard. Want to change the protocol or reference system in your value block? Absolutely!
But will everyone support it? Well, it depends on the app developer.
I am not saying this is a bad thing. I VM saying, it is what it is.

@npub1fmx…wp74 I saw the EFF and Fight for the Future pushing people to write their congresspeople about this bill. Their reasons are focused largely on access to LGBTQ+ information for kids, but the bill doesn't really seem to address that.
All said, the bill still seems like a bad idea given censorship and verification, but I'm curious about your take.

A FYI to those who use Azure/Teams at work, Microsoft seems to be passing data to an intelligence community server. AdGuard blocked it for me on my home network.
