I have a filter that suppresses posts with "Musk", "Zuckerberg", "Bezos", "Rinehart", etc. So that I can follow certain people without getting yet another story about these oligarchs.
And apparently the filters look inside any alt-text too.

Your kids, society, and the economy would be better off if you gave them their “inheritance” whilst you were still alive.
Why lock the money away in a box that can only be opened upon your death? Why not let them spend it now, when they need it?
Do 60-year-olds really need to receive a cash bonus on the death of their parents?
(I am speaking from lived experience here).

You drive in behind one of the shuttle buses, which means you don’t have to worry about wildlife or other vehicles on the road. The drive is an experience in itself.
There are several different types of cabin; from little 4-berth, through 2-bedroom, to whopping great communal spaces. Some are probably better than others, but I can’t really comment on that.
I should add we last went 2 years ago so things may have changed a bit in that time.

Waldheim is fantastic. The cabins are way better than basic (but far from luxurious).
There are electric heaters, an oven and a cooktop. The showers have hot water, and heaters. Amenities well cleaned daily.
Not much in the way of “lounge room”, just benches. We take folding camping chairs for lounging.
The beds are basic bunks so you need a sleeping bag. No doubles!
If the power goes out it will be less pleasant, although there is a box of emergency items (which we’ve never had to use).
Make sure your car battery and its remote key battery is charged as the cold will cause problems (ask me how I know!)
It could be a bit interesting if there was lots of snow or ice; we have never had that (but mostly been in autumn).
You are still a good 30 minutes walk from Dove Lake and its trail heads.
You can catch the shuttle bus back and forth, including to Dove Lake.
We caught it back to Snake Plains and walked the boardwalk back to Waldheim one day when my knee wouldn’t allow me to go up or down big hills.
It will be very dark at night, and the sun will set early, and the valley will get very cold very quickly. Have a head torch and appropriate clothes.
Not just wombats, but also quolls.

Bridport is a coastal town (probably lots of people around this time of year). With famous golf links nearby if you’re in to that sort of thing. Nice walk from one end to the other near the coast, or onto the beaches.
Narwantapu NP worth investigating, although I’m not sure if it still has the wombats.

The Reichenbach Falls *are* very impressive, and certainly worth a visit if you're in the area.
The eagle-eyed might be able to see a white star on the cliff in the left of this photo, which marks the location of Paget's illustration (although there is a guard rail there now, presumably to prevent fictional characters plunging to their death).
