As for customer complaints, have you met the fucking American public? There is a reason it's commonly accepted that looking at a comment section is a mistake.

We had some excitement here this morning. I was on my balcony, and Baby Cat was out too. I keep a sharpish eye on her so she doesn't leap to her death as she likes to get up on the ledge and lean out.

SHE CAUGHT A HUMMING BIRD! Luckily she dropped it for inspection. I thought it was dead. I gently picked it up, took it back outside and tossed it off the balcony to retrieve later for the dumpster.

My bad experiences aren't limited to gynecologists. Dermatologists are another bunch of scoundrels. I have a lot of moles. Tried and failed to get one at Brigham & Women's in Boston to photograph them so they could be tracked. They took pictures that were so bad, you could tell nothing. Then I had a series of dermatologists who wanted to cut them all off because they're "pre-cancerous" (which means "are not cancerous") but only one at a time instead of two or three at a time.

I'm not at all surprised by any of it. I do not trust doctors at all on the basis of my past experience with them. When I was about 37 I developed really heavy periods - crazy heavy. A gynecologist recommended I have my uterus scraped (a potential bad outcome would mean I'd end up with a colostomy). I declined. I found out later that it's not unusual for women of the age I was then to have temporarily heavy periods. You'd think that would be something a gynecologist would know.

One of my favorite websites is Cat Rescue Guy, a blog by a retiree in #Louisiana who spends some of his time rescuing #cats stuck in trees. He does this for free (and refuses any payment), and posts stories and pictures (and sometimes video) from all his rescues.

It’s real good brain cleanse. Ridiculously #wholesome.

Where do you live that a car with the check engine light on can pass inspection? My car was well over 16 when I took it for inspection with the light on. The AZ DMV paid for the repair so it would pass. I think at the time they'd pay up to $500? They increased the amount shortly after.
