Not sure if people are aware, but there's been an increase in #GitHub suspending accounts. When this happens, their created issues disappear because the account is effectively disappeared. Beyond that, when it happens to a person who is a sole maintainer of a project, the impact is extremely high. We've seen at least two #Django community members have this happen to them in the last six months. I hadn't heard of this happening in my N years before that.

The site includes extra context on JsonResponse(safe=) which clarifies why it's important. Thankfully, browsers have gotten better to the point where this feature (and antipattern) can be removed!

For people who use the #Django Debug Toolbar, what are your thoughts on having the toolbar allow you to run a non-select query in the SQL panel?

Today it allows you to run and explain on the query. There's an issue to better improve what is considered a select query (the existing check is crude), but it's making me wonder, should we allow a person to re-run an update, delete, create query?
