Just FYI, I'm planning on migrating *this* account ([@RL_Dane](https://fosstodon.org/@RL_Dane )) over to Polymaths ([@rl_dane@polymaths.social](https://polymaths.social/@rl_dane )) at some point in the next few days or weeks. (/Il faut préciser!/, I know!)

I honestly love both communities a lot, but maintaining two accounts, two lists of bookmarks/saves, two sets of lists is getting to be a bit much.

If nothing else, whenever the edit feature goes live on GtS, I'm probably movin'.

I like Graphene, but I honestly think #MicroG is a better solution for google play compatibility.

Also, #CalyxOS has *really* nice onboarding and is quite easy to use, once you get through the install process. It comes with extra apps like a calendar (soft-fork of Etar) which GOS lacks.

Their install instructions are pretty good, the only thing I'd have to add to it is to expand your /tmp if it's tmpfs (RAMDisk) and you get an error. Also, I've only installed it twice in five years, so my memory of the process is a little vague ;)

As far as updates, they're O-T-A and happen automatically. You just get a notification asking you to reboot.

I normally love blog prompts/requests, but in this case, there isn't all that much I can add to it (or remember clearly ;)

Samsung makes far better hardware, IMHO, and I've never had a Samsung phone. It's the interplay between hardware, software, ecosystem, luxury brand status, and vendor lock-in.

People don't buy iPhones because they're great phones. They're GOOD, but pretty grossly overpriced phones.

So, lesson learned: If you're not sure if they're a kitten or not, feed them kitten food (unless they get visibly fat ;)

I switched her to kitten food, as I was erroneously told that she was an adult when I adopted her, but she has obviously grown.

Kitten food is supposedly more caloric, so maybe she felt like she was finally getting the nutrients she needed?

She didn't throw up, I think she was just that hungry.
