Yeah I don't doubt that LLMs excel at the "gatling gun" approach which is what Metasploit entailed. Pattern matching and efficient exploration of search spaces are algorithmic tasks that neural nets are known to excel at, and embedded deep-learning networks as found in LLMs are a natural extension of that. The issue is the large harnesses around LLMs needed to obtain useful results. The power bill and negative externalities may negate the observed gains, though.
