The reason I still follow Trek is.. well one, Paramount + has a live channel where they&#39;ll play random episodes and they add most new stuff to the rotation unless it bombs, so I have to to know what I&#39;m looking at when I work out, but also because at its heart it&#39;s episodic with periodic serialized stories to shake things up or change the status quo, so it&#39;s possible for someone to come in and use the setting to do something different. Seth McFarland did it with Orville, the comedy was a little annoying but he got the basic formula correct.<br/><br/>In something like SW a lot of the bad is baked into its identity. Everything has to be universal stakes, good vs evil, the good guys always have to be the underdog.
