Julian is not an intelligence asset nor was he in 2008 when WikiLeaks first began publishing documents of corruption in Africa.. one clip out of context that was an early warning about IoT and nanobots is far from evidence of compromise.. my own involvement w WikiLeaks research goes from 2010 and many w better tech skills than me have been raided, prosecuted and jailed including Julian.. any efforts to throw shade on a group that has paid such a high price to advance transparency will get serious push back from me & progress to questions of motives. j/s

Yes I read it and the comment about Clinton emails disappearing with server problems was framed as something suspicious as unrelated to the plea.. yes I am super reactive because the infosec angels who guard WikiLeaks servers are under constant attacks and things do go offline w DDoS attacks and maintenance and any suggestion that there is anything less than full transparency will get my claws out.

Claims of missing content do not even stand up to casual fact check and remarks about WikiLeaks missing content related to plea agreement are wrong. Technical problems with Wayback saves can be brought to their attention but folks need to verify it is missing like the reference to Vault 7 that has thousands of captures.. If there are verified gaps let Jason Scott (npub1k79…tp5x) know specifics but again do the basics to check the claim of missing content isn't a case of some URL error.. WASHINGTON, Aug. 3—Mm. Stanfield Turner, the Director of Central Intelligence, testified today that the C.I.A. had secretly supported human behavior control research at 80 institutions, including 44 colleges or universities as well as hospitals, prisons and pharmaceutical companies.

He told a joint hearing of the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Health subcommittee that recently discovered financial records indicate that during the most intense period of the project, code‐named MK‐Ultra, the agency had supported 185 nongovernment researchers in 149 separate research projects. He said that the main action years of MK‐Ultra were from 1953 through 1963. The projects, he said, had included tests of LSD and of a “K,” or “knockout drop.”

“It is totally abhorrent to me to think of using humans as guinea pigs,” Admiral Turner said, adding: “I assure you that the C.I.A. is in no way engaged in either witting or unwitting testing of drugs today.’..
At the two‐hour hearing today, Senator Kennedy, a Massachusetts Democrat, pressed Admiral Turner.to let the universities, researchers and possible subjects of the tests know of the C.I.A.'s involvement. “These individuals have a right to know who they are and why they were used,” he said.

Senator Kennedy also urged Admiral Turner to find and interview Dr. Sidney J. Gottlieb, a 24‐year employe of the C.I.A.'s technical service division, which directed the projects.

“Every single document the staff reviews has Mr. Gottlieb's name on it,” the Senator said, adding, “One thing for sure; Gottlieb knows.” Dr. Gottlieb, who retired in 1973, was interviewed at length by Senate investigators in 1975 but told them he could not recall much about the project.

For me the idea of safe spaces is the ultimate fraud as we fund war, terrorism & mass incarceration rather than funding communities, jobs, education that make everyone safer w prosperity & security. Pitching niche safety is just a dividing tactic while 1:5 children in America go to sleep hungry every night.. start safe spaces w full tunnies.
