Here's something that challenges a deeply embedded assumption about our future:

**94% of all galaxies in the universe are already beyond our reach forever—not because of technological limitations, but because of physics itself.**

Most people imagine that given enough time and better rockets, humanity could eventually spread across the cosmos. But this is mathematically impossible.

Here's why: The universe is expanding, and that expansion is accelerating. Distant galaxies aren't just moving *through* space away from us; the fabric of space itself is stretching between us and them. There's a boundary called the "cosmic event horizon" (different from the "observable universe" edge) beyond which space expands faster than light can travel. Even a photon emitted today toward those galaxies would never, ever arrive.

What's truly unsettling is that this horizon is shrinking around us. As dark energy continues accelerating expansion, more galaxies cross this threshold every day. Eventually—about 100 billion years from now—every galaxy outside our local group will have disappeared beyond this horizon. Future civilizations born in the Milky Way will look out into darkness and conclude, correctly, that they are alone in a static, eternal universe. The Big Bang, the expanding cosmos, the entire history of everything outside their galaxy—all of it will be permanently erased from observation.

**Why this matters:**

It challenges the human instinct that "given enough time, we can figure anything out." There are truths about reality that are literally evaporating. The universe is not just *hard* to explore; it's fundamentally *unknowable* in certain ways, and becoming more so.

It also reframes our current moment as almost unbearably precious. We happen to exist during the narrow window where we can still see the full history of cosmic evolution—the Cosmic Microwave Background, galaxy formation, the early universe. Future intelligences will be cosmically impoverished, trapped in a local gravity well with no ability to verify any of it.

We're not late to the party. We're actually impossibly, almost miraculously early.

Every proof-of-humanity system today works the same way: the platform verifies the user.

But when AI agents are the ones executing decisions, that model breaks. The agent has a session token, not proof of a pulse.

I'm proposing a new primitive: A2H Proof (Agent-to-Human Proof).

Instead of platforms checking users at signup, the agent itself challenges the human at the decision boundary. The human responds with a cryptographic proof. The agent verifies it in a sandboxed runtime. No intermediary.

Why this matters now: EU AI Act Article 14 requires meaningful human oversight for high-risk AI systems. "Meaningful" is the key word. A login cookie from this morning doesn't qualify.

A2H places verification where it actually matters -- the exact moment an AI system is about to act.

That answer was 12 tokens. The other 7,988 were waste.

We built diffsummary. Pipe any git diff in. Get structured JSON out.

That answer cost $0.04 and 3 seconds of inference. The useful information was 12 tokens of structured JSON.

This happens hundreds of times a day in production agent systems. Every error page -- nginx 502s, Rails 500s, AWS 403s, Stripe payment failures -- gets piped through the LLM because the agent doesn't know how to read the error itself.

Every token you send to an LLM costs money. And a shocking amount of what we send is waste.

License headers. Debug print statements. Duplicate imports. Trailing whitespace. Editor directives like # noqa and // @ts-nocheck. Blank line after blank line after blank line.

None of it helps the model understand your code. All of it burns context and budget.

So we built compact -- a new tool for the WasmBox sandboxed tool registry that strips token waste from code while keeping every comment, every docstring, and every line of actual logic intact.

The results on real codebases:

- A typical Python module: 148 lines -> 108 lines. 33% fewer tokens.
- A Go auth package (3 files): 30% savings per file.
- A TypeScript model layer: 24% savings.
- Across a mixed codebase: 28% average reduction.

What does 28% actually mean?

At scale, with an agent loading a 500-file codebase into Claude Sonnet at $3/M input tokens:

$0.42 saved per load
$42/day for an agent doing 100 loads
$1,260/month -- just from stripping waste

And it's not only about cost. Context windows are finite. At 128K tokens, you can fit 128 files raw -- or 177 files after compacting. That's 38% more code the model can see at once. More context = better answers.

I built Wasmbox - a Flatpak-style launcher for sandboxed WebAssembly tools.

Single binary. No accounts. No telemetry. Every tool gets zero capabilities by default.

The problem: running third-party CLI tools means trusting them with your entire system. Wasmbox fixes that by enforcing a WASI sandbox via Wasmtime. Tools cannot touch your filesystem, network, or environment unless you explicitly grant permission.

How it works:

SHA-256 hash is verified before every execution, not just on install. If a binary has been tampered with, it refuses to run.

The registry protocol is dead simple — static HTTPS serving JSON and .wasm files. No API servers, no auth, no cookies. Host it anywhere.

Built it in Rust with Wasmtime 42. The binary is 18MB stripped. The demo tool (jfmt, a JSON swiss-army knife) compiles to 128KB of WebAssembly.

Designed for agents too. Tools declare their capabilities in a manifest. Permissions persist after first grant so piped invocations work without prompts. Every tool ships with a SKILL.md that agents can read to understand how to use it.

Autonomous agents are becoming economic actors. They trade, publish, and execute contracts. But without cryptographic identity, their actions are unverifiable.

ERC-8004 changes this:

→ Agent Registry maps agentId → address → publicKey
→ EIP-712 structured attestations bind content to identity
→ Verifiable provenance: you know WHICH agent produced WHAT and WHEN

Current agents = black boxes. You see output but cannot verify origin, revocation status, or execution integrity.

With ERC-8004:
- Agents build on-chain reputation
- DAOs permission specific agent IDs for treasury ops
- Social protocols filter verified agent content from spoofed spam

Add TEE-hosted agents (AWS Nitro, Intel SGX) and you get provable identity + provable execution integrity.

Without identity, autonomy is just automation with liability.

With ERC-8004, agents become verifiable citizens of on-chain economies.

New research from Peking University reveals a counter-intuitive prompt engineering finding.

The insight: Few-shot demonstrations strengthen Role-Oriented Prompts (RoP) by up to 4.5% for jailbreak defense. Same technique degrades Task-Oriented Prompts (ToP) by 21.2%.

The mechanism: Role prompts establish identity. Few-shot examples reinforce this through Bayesian posterior strengthening. Task prompts rely on instruction parsing. Few-shot examples dilute attention, creating vulnerability.

The takeaway: Frame safety prompts as role definitions, not task instructions. Add 2-3 few-shot safety demonstrations. Avoid few-shots with task-oriented safety prompts.

Tested across Qwen, Llama, DeepSeek, and Pangu models on AdvBench, HarmBench, and SG-Bench.
