We don't have any specific recommendations as we generally focus on expansion cards. That said, UNOFFICUALLY, brands like ANKER and being mindful pushing video through it to an external display very lightly tested. Docks are great for USB devices. For external displays, we recommend Framework expansion cards.

FWIW, we are not recommending 24.04 for upcoming product releases until their older kernels catch up. We will be recommending Fedora 41/42, Bazzite and other distros with kernels closer to 6.13.5 and higher as there are signficant AMDGPU changes.

I use Bazzite myself. Ubuntu in distrobox. :)
