I disagree with your take on the use of all lanes being the cause of traffic backing up. Obviously the backup is well beyond the merger point- your take is the same false reasoning that ‘more lanes will improve traffic flow’ it just increases traffic. And in your scenario it also increases the likelihood that attitudes at the merge will be negatively affected. Selfishly pushing your vehicle ahead for what is a thirty second benefit is not the answer, why wouldn’t everyone in traffic just cut into the merge lane to pass those in front of them and thus block all those people legitimately joining the “parking lot”?

while the near history may support this thesis longer term history does not. The desire to be an oligarch (ultimate ruler) is not race based. So the actual reason may be more entitlement/attitudinal based than ‘white’. Telling others how to live and demanding their supplication is oppression no matter what colour or race you are. Allowing people to freely choose their lifestyle and accepting it is what seems to be beyond us.

housing is actually a provincial responsibility and as is happening with health care- the money that the feds give the provinces for this is either not being spent or being spent on other things. Second addressing corporate greed requires a focused house of parliament not the divisive politics of the CPC. There’s many things that have been delivered but why pay attention to them?
